Yuzu a.k.a. Milena Georgieva was born in Sofia, lives in Vienna and works transdisciplinarily between music, performance, installation and media art as well as art education. She studied Site- specific art at the University of Applied Arts Vienna, Art and education at the Academy of Fine Arts Vienna, as well as Poster and visual communication at the National Academy of Arts Sofia. Under the pseudonym Yuzu, she composes, plays and performs, until now i.a. at Wiener Festwochen, ImpulsTanz, Elevate Festival, Velak Gala, Popfest, Berlin Community Radio, Dead Mall Radio, FLUCA etc.$

Милена Георгиева, позната още като Юзу, е родена в София, живее във Виена и работи трансдисциплинарно в сферите музика, пърформанс, инсталация, медийно изкуство и преподаване. Следвала е сайт-спесифик арт към Университета за приложни изкуства във Виена, Педагогика на изкуствата в Академията за изящни изкуства във Виена, както и Плакат и визуална комуникация в Националната художествена академия в София.$
Под псевдонима Юзу тя композира и изпълнява на живо или като ди-джей, участвайки във фетсивали и програми, сред които Wiener Festwochen, ImpulsTanz, Elevate Festival, Velak Gala, Popfest, Berlin Community Radio, Dead Mall Radio, FLUCA etc.

The square around Serdika metro-station in the heart of Sofia is one of the most complex and historically interesting places in the city: thermal springs meet Roman excavations, an Orthodox church meets a mosque, a synagogue meets a Catholic church and the presidential palace the statue of St. Sofia. At the same time, the site has no centre, cannot be overlooked from anywhere and seems to be torn apart.
In her hybrid between own live-music, DJ-set and performance, Yuzu will acoustically attempt, what seems impossible on other levels: to bring the site together. From a glass-covered place in the underground of the square, her music will be transmitted via little receivers above ground to the satellite-locations above ground mentioned before via little receivers. Within the evening, the net around the artist will get tighter, mutating to a club-setting where people dance, listen to the music and meet each other.
Пространството около станция Сердика в сърцето на София е едно от най-комплексните и исторически интересни места в града: минерални извори граничат с римски разкопки, православна църква с джамия, синагога с католическа църква и президентството със статуята на Св. София. В същото време площадът няма център, остава необозрим и създава усещане за разпокъсаност.
Чрез хибрид от музика на живо, ди-джей сет и пърформанс, Юзу ще опита да постигне акустично това, което на друго ниво на възприятие остава невъзможно - да обедини пространството. От място със стъклено покритие в подземието на площада музиката ѝ ще бъде излъчена към приемници на повърхността, намиращи се на споменатите сателитни локации. В продължение на вечерта образувалата се мрежа около артистката ще се стесни, мутирайки в клубна обстановка, където хората се срещат, слушат музика и танцуват.

The area around Ploshtad Nezavisimost in the heart of Sofia is a junction of (public) transport. Its structure is difficult to understand, there's no center, it can't be overseen from anywhere and seems totally fragmented. A multi-layered conglomerate of contradictions, which we try to encounter.
Ареалът около Площад Независимост е комплексен и многопластов - конгломерат от противоречия на един основен възел в Софийската (публична) транспортна мрежа.$ Трудно е да се разбере структурата на това място и срещата с него е почти невъзможна: то няма център, не може да бъде обозряно и изглежда фрагментирано.
